Mini cooper bonnet release -> outside footwell on the passenger side. You cant reach it from the driver's side

Liberty rear window switches mounted on the front console..
Samuri hood latch in glove box..
Daihatsu hood latch release...is the hood ornament.
Inside door release on a Subaru XT coupe...try to find it the first time..
Saab 9000 gas door release..never found it...
I could go on..

Yes you can... it's just to the right of the accelerator...

Another on the Mini. pull twice on the inside handle to open a locked door. Most people pull once and then keep on pulling harder until the handle breaks

How is a trunk release in the glove box a weird place? Lots of cars have the remote release there.

This reminded me of a story - a couple apparent joyriders steal a late production DeLorean, gas station attendant sees them circling the car. They leave without buying gas and abandon it a couple miles away.

It's not that strange, but the indicators on my Alvis are a switch around the horn boss...

All BMWs. What did these people do when cars didn't have this convenience function at all, and you had to manually unlock them? Did they just sit there holding the handle? Were a lot of people getting stuck in their cars in the 1980s?
