Changing thread titles (sic) See I changed your original post
I know the title is spelt incorrectly. I did it on purpose
How can one change it?
Have I done it?

As far as I know you can just change it when you press the 'Modify' button the way I have with the title after quoting your post.

Atom 245, (Atom 160 - SOLD), Yamaha XVZ1300 Royal Star, Ford Sierra 4X4 Ghia Estate, Skoda Octavia vRS Estate, VW Golf 2.0 TSI GTI (Nadine's)
Here's where you change it.
exactly!
But, since you made the first thread in the post, when you change that, it will change the name of the thread too, instead of what I changed as an example above

Re: Chanmging thread titles (sic)
But you haven't changed the thread title, just the one in your posts...

Re: Chanmging thread titles (sic)
Bruce, you have to modify your first post, not the Subject of the reply......
1: open your inital post by selecting modify
2: change the spelling of Chanmging to changing as you did in your 2nd to last post.

Re: Chanmging thread titles (sic)
check out this post you were replying in yesterday
notice how I changed the name of the thread, the subject in the posts before the change stay the same, but the title of the whole thread changed, and also, any subsequent posts made after I made the change to the initial thread subject line, continue with the new name.

Re: Changing thread titles (sic)
and your newest post and mine take on the new subject of the thread, but the rest stay as they were...It's really a darn good system.
Re: This is Forum 101
You can change the thread title in your OWN reply easily. Only the original poster can change the Thread Title by editing their first post as it appears in the Forum listings. Whatever reply ones title haas depends on what the thread title is when they reply or if they manually modify it.
Re: Changing thread titles (sic)
We understood that. Bruce just wanted to know how to change the thread title
Re: Changing thread titles (sic)
Moderators, like yourself Bruce, can also change other peoples initial posts in a thread just like Driver has with Kin's to show his Atom has been Sold.
Changing it from 'Mint condition 245 for sale' to 'Mint condition 245 for sale - Sold'
Changing it from 'Mint condition 245 for sale' to 'Mint condition 245 for sale - Sold'
