Being stupid - can't edit my initial post? Help!

Post by theslayyer » Tue Sep 16, 2014 8:08 am

Hi ... I'm probably missing something really obvious but how do I edit posts?

I need to make a change to a post I placed a short while ago!

HELP!

:-)

You can only edit a published post for a certain time and then the forum application will remove the 'modify' button and you won't be able to change it.

Oh poo.  Thanks for letting me know.

Bit annoying as I'd like to adjust the price in the first post of a car I listed for sale.

Oh well.

:-(

You could go to your original post and hit the "quote" button.

Then in your new text of the new post detail the price change in large italics/bold etc.
