Streets of Willow on May 9 & 10 2009
I was wondering if anyone else in Socal is planning on attending this event.
Sunday looks to be the better day, far fewer drivers have signed up, and only $140.00.

I've linked this to the Calendar. (John Lloyd)

I'm game!
Not sure which day I will manage. Possibly the two days. This would be my first track day of the year.
I am also up for a weekend run up PCH to Monterey this May. Any takers?
I get home Saturday. Currently in Sao Paulo. Plan on fitting the new uprights on Saturday afternoon and going for an Ortega/Palomar run Sunday! Anyone is welcome to tag along !

Re: Streets of Willow on May 9 & 10 2009
I booked Saturday. Sunday is out due to Mothers day, as Nick pointed out.
Maverick is looking at booking as well. If we get enough interested, I can bring the race trailer, chairs and BBQ stuff. Otherwise, I will just take the flatbed trailer and minimal crap.
I looked at the following weekend for California Speedway. It's a joint event with the local Porsche Owners Club. There is only 4 run sessions of 25 minutes for the day. At $290, $340 and $310 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively, it's not cheap but for me it's about $100 less in fuel to get there than Willow Springs or Buttton Willow, plus 3 hours less driving, so well worth it. I will likely sign up for the Friday and possibly the Sunday?
Had an awesome run at Palomar Mountain yesterday! We really should do this place in a group. It was mind bending. I am still pumped over it.
