5th annual motor4toys

Post by hondahamster » Wed Dec 10, 2008 1:31 am

It seemed like a good event with a good turn out, and 15,000 toys for that Hamster ;D(jk). Me and Fiesty were going to go, but it was very cloudy and it was over 100 miles away.

Man those extra hoops are weird, unless your a dwarf they look way too low to help in a roll over so I wonder why you'd add them?

George owns the blue one.

George is a great guy, a car nut as you can tell.
He was able to get a HECK of a deal to purchase the blue one, and purchased it from a car collector in Arizona who needed to liquidate some assets.
We have chatted on and off about cars for the past year at car shows we both went to, and he completely surprised me when he purchased this blue one.

I didn't not realize how much of my tread was missing until I had it next to George's car.

The car show was great; it kept threatening to rain, but ultimately only about 10 drops landed on my car.

More answers...

The front fenders are in my garage.
I had not yet put them back on following a track day.

The hoops that George made are a love it or hate it thing.
They attach to the roll bar mounting points, and both seatbelt mount points...
I think that they are less obtrusive than the factory roll bar, but I have that so I have no need for the small ones...
