Not everywhere in the US shuts things down if its wet.  In Oregon, track days are held as scheduled, rain or shine.  The Porsche club even has a track day in Oct. called "rain bonnet."

That track is a little scary in the wet though, the surface itself is too smooth and needs to be redone.

I did Laguna Seca for a day once in the wet, I learned a tremendous amount from it.  Dunno why you'd pass up the opportunity to do limit driving in the rain.

Great track day for those of us who made it out.  Chilly in the morning, but absolutely stunning weather once the sun came out.  No wind, wahoo!!  :tu:
