HEY! Those are my seats!  >:(

By the way, while you are back there adjusting cables, hack off that useless counterweight. Even though you won't actually "feel" the difference like the common folks with a manual shifter,it will help with quick shifting.

Porsche PDK and paddles.  Make it happen.  I'd love to see that.  :)
I wonder if it could work, or, more accurately, how much it would cost to make it work.

Isn't the whole idea of the Atom to keep things simple and affordable?( without sacrificing hyper performance capabilities,of course..)

I dont think I want anything im may car that is called a Doppelkupplung.  sounds like a German porn fetish

Plus that thing would stick out about 5 feet out the side of the car.

I thought they were evaluating PDK-ish paddle shifting for the 500, so I'm proposing a "poor man's 500" for Bolus, who has already gone lever-less.  Plus, it is Bolus' money, so I may as well dream big.

And as long as I'm dreaming, if the PDK would stick out 5 feet - notwithstanding the fact that there's then more surface area to cover with glorious CF-- , what would work (and assuming cost would be no object)?

Believe me, I'm still trying to do some ridiculous stuff.  I would still love to put an AWD transmission in there.

I just need somthing like this, but with that rear output shafted reversed and pointing forward.

I found some "custom transmission" places that say "we love a challenge"  I think they would laugh at that idea though

Bolus,Bolus,Bolus....the absolute LAST thing an Atom needs is 4wd.

Fix the stock box or do a Quaiffe 6 spped conversion.

How about better suspension?

How about better brakes?

How about some aero work?

Remember,less is more!

Yeah, I think talking common sense with a guy spending money on a car he cant take to the track anymore is a bit silly  :P

Think of it as a "big boy" model car.

haha, that's pretty good.  I should really skip spending the $20 grand on a transmission and get a Nemesis.  Though I know if I got one and put a 650hp turbo built hayabusa in it I wouldn't be able to post about it here :(
