anyone purchased the intense racing pulley puller.
anyone purchased the intense racing pulley puller.
I'm switching my brammo 300 pully to a 2.8" pulley but can't get the pulley off easily with the exact same puller I used last time.......so i figured I'd ask if anyone else has used a puller that has the right sized bolts to thread directly into the brammo pully...............or did everyone else use a 3 jawwed puller......last time when I tried that it chipped my pulley so I wanted to use the 3 bolt style or something else.

I used this tool from ZZPerformance, and it worked great. It's well-built and has decent instructions. I originally borrowed it from another Atom owner, but eventually ordered one of my own. It doesn't thread into the pulley, but uses the split plate on the left side of the photo to pull the pulley off from behind.

Re: anyone purchased the intense racing pulley puller.
I was swimming in anti-sieze - and having the same problem that silver was having as well, with the whole thing backing off on me. But yes.. I did end up having to cut through a hardened steel threaded bar with a hacksaw cause I DID strip it

I'm wishing I kept that horseshoe part now. it would have made a nice weapon if I sharpened the edges

Nick - you have to start making notches on it to indicate how many owners have gotten use out of it.

I bought the Brammo 245hp Atom.
Any idea what pully size I have?
Does not say in the manual.
