I do possess some mechanical skills. Not huge, but some. What I have found out, is that out beloveds really are British in soul and spirit.

Today, I had a massive overheating issue. 230 + and the fan wasn't working. I went through all plumbing - hot in the right places. Bled the bits that are supposed to be bled and then f***ed with the wiring into the fan. Behold the joy of 180 temps from then on.

This follows a non-starting issue that had all the hallmarks of a knackered starter, battery or fairly major component. However on f***ing with the wiring on the starter, no issues since in at least 200 starts.

So, as American made as she may be, I and she remember our roots. If in doubt, f*** with the wiring.
