Not really worried about the rad (oil) cooler in front, am worried about the laminova tubes in the intake.. more expensive and even harder to get to AND coolant squirting into engine.. yuck...

Today, I went for a long drive to make notes of the temperatures that I get from my interceptor gage for the AIT2 readings.

80 degrees outside, 60 mph, 5th gear, 2700-2800 rpms      123-132 degrees
90 degrees  "        "    "      "    "        "        "                130-142 degrees
92 degrees outside,  0 mph. neutral,  800 rpm                  156-163 degrees  sitting at red lights

The gage showed 30-32 degrees of ignition advance for the above 80 degrees reading.

How do these compare to others that have not yet done any water injection system install?

Kind of all over the map but here are the cobalt AIT2s

Darth had some good information somewhere on here where he listed the temps his engine started pulling timing.

Here are his results with water cooling.  60F at the end of a dyno pull is great.

I dont think I got over 90 with my turbo and no water.  Go turbo!

I have an interceptor gage but have yet to install it.
Not sure how and where to mount it.
Can you purchase mounting hardware anywhere?
