Thanks: my car is back on the road...

Just a quick note to say thank you to everyone who helped me with the info necessary to get my car back on the road...

I was just doing a stage 1 to stage 2 upgrade, but of course things always take longer, and require more knowledge than we started out thinking they would...

Anyway, I replace my SC pulley with a smaller (3.0?) one.
I replaced the injectors with 60lb injectors.
I replaced the ECU with a "pick a part" ECU from a CobaltSS.  <G>
I replaced the serpentine belt with a smaller one (not that it seemed to make any difference to tension.)
I got the car tuned with a local guy from the Cobalt forums.

And yesterday I got to drive in again...

Happy days.

Now I just need to change the exhaust and muffler.

Nick,
That's great! Button Willow this weekend? If not, when are you getting back on a track?

I just got mine running again Sunday. Had the engine out for a week with gearbox problems. (Quaife P.O.S. I am not a happy camper with that whole fiasco >:()

Is your car running any better now?

The car is running nicely.

I honestly have no way to tell if it is running 'better'.
I didn't drive it for 2 months, so I could not do back to back comparison.
I didn't dyno it before (or after), so no paper numbers.

But it's nice again.
I had a blast this weekend, and now have sunburns on the back of my wrists.  :D :D :D

put that bad boy on a dyno...if you're above 230hp to the wheels you're doing just fine!

Actually, dont put it on the dyno, that leads to a problem called bolusitis that leads to a massive sucking sound coming from your wallet
