Wheel nut torque setting and tire pressures

Post by maverick1 » Fri Feb 01, 2008 2:07 am

can someone please let me know what the wheel nut torque setting is and also what tire pressure is best for the road using Toyo R888 tires? I've read on this forum anywhere from 13f 15r to 16f and 18r.
I thought the wheel nut torque was 80 ft lbs but I want to make sure.
Cheersâ?¢

Lug nut torque is good at 80ft.lbs

Tire pressures are something you will have to experiment with to get to your exact liking. It is a tuning aid.

There really is no "perfect" setting for everyone or every tire, every car, every temperature or every track surface.

At least,this is what I have learned. ;D ;D

bolus, with that 500 hp beast you're producing, you'll probably need about 3 psi to "put the power down". ;D
