I'm interested in putting an extra nut on the rear axle to act as a jamb nut.
I know that the rear axle nut is a 30mm nut, but I don't know the thread size or pitch for the nut. I also know that it's the same size as the '90 Ford Taurus front axle (thanks MadMaxedAtom for that info). However, I can't get the nut at the local Ford dealership because they said they don't offer parts for that model anymore. Does anyone happen to have the full specs so I can buy one elsewhere?
Anyone know the specs (thread pitch, size) of the rear axle nut?
Anyone know the specs (thread pitch, size) of the rear axle nut?
