Metric Honda and Standard Brammo chassis
Metric Honda and Standard Brammo chassis
Just to confirm that for the Honda powered Atom, the engine and drive train parts are metric and the chassis components are standard
Re: Metric Honda and Standard Brammo chassis
It was this way with the Atom 2, at least. High quality parts in standard are much easier to come by in the States.
Re: Metric Honda and Standard Brammo chassis
"US" standard you want to say , yes ? because Word standard is metric ....

Re: Metric Honda and Standard Brammo chassis
My UK Atom also has many "Imperial" bolts, which surprises me. I was expecting all metric. Are the newer UK Atoms this way also? Are Imperial bolts common in England?
Re: Metric Honda and Standard Brammo chassis
unfortunately, yes ...
In fact Ariel is buying some US components like rodends, and there are only a few "bolts" in Imperial because of this.

Thank you, Ben, for picking up on the fact this was posted in the U.S. technical forum . There's not much point in talking about "bangers and mash, or car boots, batenburg cake... or imperial" on this side of the forum. I had endeavored to tailor my English to the target audience.
