Just to confirm that for the Honda powered Atom, the engine and drive train parts are metric and the chassis components are standard ???

It was this way with the Atom 2, at least.  High quality parts in standard are much easier to come by in the States.

My UK Atom also has many "Imperial" bolts, which surprises me.  I was expecting all metric.  Are the newer UK Atoms this way also?  Are Imperial bolts common in England?

unfortunately, yes ... ;D ;D
In fact Ariel is buying some US components like rodends, and there are only a few "bolts" in Imperial because of this.

Thank you, Ben, for picking up on the fact this was posted in the U.S. technical forum 8). There's not much point in talking about "bangers and mash, or car boots, batenburg cake... or imperial" on this side of the forum. I had endeavored to tailor my English to the target audience.
