eBay is great, my mrs got me a sterling silver key ring for Xmas for my fob, im chuffed to bits with it as well

For clarity, just in case anyone isn't aware, the logo that George bought is the one for the Ariel company that built the motorcycle pre-war. That company went out of business some time ago and that design is probably not protected. The only thing wrong with it is that it should be baby blue not red.

Also for clarity, I only ever banned annoying trolls from the forum when it was under my auspices. I will always defend anyone's property from theft, but not by banning them from a forum or throwing lawyers at them. T'wasn't me that done it.

I'm glad I never asked and no one told me "who done it"

this way I have no personal hatred towards anyone, I hope whoever did it remains anonymous, b/c I for one....don't want to know

Don't worry, George. Buying this stuff isn't the problem. It's manufacturing it that's an issue (and yes, that keyring would breach AMC copyright but I'll not tell your missus either! Hell hath no fury like a present scorned...)

It's something that the big boys like Rolex and Nike spend millions sorting out every year... But it's not down to the buyers - ever - only the rip-off merchants who make it.

Silver,

I'm not sure where you got this idea but I think it's grossly incorrect.

A banned profile shows the words "User is currently banned [View]". Well, to us moderators it does.

Eric's profile (now displayed as whooops) is still active.. http://forum.atomclub.com/index.php?action=profile;u=546 ....and has never been banned to my knowledge.
Unless a temporary ban was placed and not all of us (moderators) were notified.

This was his last post as whooops was...  http://forum.atomclub.com/https://atomclub.com/phpbbnew/viewtopic.php?p=197619#p197619
I have also seen one of the IPs he regularly used active on here with a different user name.

I miss Eric's contributions and would gladly welcome him back. As far I am aware there is nothing stopping him from being active on this forum except that he chooses not to. A shame really.

He certainly isn't banned and indeed still visits the forum from time to time. So can we please not all get hysterical about this again?

I am no guru at the forum software but the banned list also shows past bans (as far as I can tell) and Bolus has never appeared on this so I suggest he is mistaken.
