Koni 2822's?

So has anyone upgraded their shocks beyond the standard ones that Brammo offers?  Since I have a dead shock it got me thinking about what other options are available.  Then I saw the Koni 2822's which are 4 way adjustable for both high and low speed bump and rebound settings.  looks pretty cool (they're only $1500 each)

I would expect to pay $1500 for a set of 4!

Yeah, I had a look at these.

2812's are $3900 a set.
2822's are $6000 a set.

That's more than 50% increase.

I know that Bruce will tell you to invest the money in driving lessons...

I guess the question is can you tell the differnce in handling characteristics between low and high speed bump and low and high speed rebound.

If not, then the question is purely acedemic.

I have a set of triple Penske's on my Swift DB-6.  At this point, I have not touched the damper settings.  If I can ever scrape enough cash together to buy lots of sets of tires, I will then start really messing with the settings.

On the other hand, if i had the cash I'd shell out for a set of 4-way Ohlins   I'm a firm believer in high tech no matter the cost!
