Re: Fly Wheel Exposed?
anyone got a place to order the bolts? My local chevy dealer says they are backordered over the entire country. These cant be that special of a bolt.
Re: Fly Wheel Exposed?
I asked what thread they were.... no info. I too have the cover but am awaiting the bolts.
Re: Fly Wheel Exposed?
I got my bolts today. Part #11085902. Doesn't specify size at all though
Re: Fly Wheel Exposed?
Got my cover and bolts the other day and installed them last night. I can verify that the previously posted part #'s for both the bolts and cover are correct. Easily installed once the exhaust is removed (I'm replacing mine due to the flex joint exhaust leak issue). I would suggest using a bit of Lok-Tite thread locking material to help keep the bolts from backing out once installed.
Re: Fly Wheel Exposed?
I had to order mine and it took forever. Have them put in an order for you at least
Re: Fly Wheel Exposed?
huh? That is weird. did they give you the right part? I doubt we have different transmissions
Re: Fly Wheel Exposed?
Yes, I haven't posted... but I have the same problem. The holes are there for the cover, but there is some kind of lip between the engine block and transmission that partly covers one of the holes. I looks like it could be dremmel'd away to make room for one of the bolts.
