Remote Brake Bias Adjuster not available on K20 Brammo Atom
Remote Brake Bias Adjuster not available on K20 Brammo Atom
Here's what they say:
The U.S. Honda Ariels are not available with the remote brake bias adjuster due to the combination of the mechanical throttle and the adjustable pedal set. In the UK it is just barely possible to install a remote brake bias adjuster because they lack the adjustable pedals that are fitted to all U.S. Ariels. Unfortunately there is not a good way to outfit one of the U.S. Honda motor Ariels with a remote brake bias adjuster.
Obviously of less relevance now that all of the K20s are spoken for, but still good to know.
Does this mean that Ecotecs have an electronic throttle?

Re: Remote Brake Bias Adjuster not available on K20 Brammo Atom
Yes, the GM's have throttle by wire. The real problem is that Brammo had to switch from Tilton to Willwood (?) pedal sets, for whatever reason. The Tilton parts are used on the UK Honda powered Atoms, and can handle a bias adjuster.
Re: Remote Brake Bias Adjuster not available on K20 Brammo Atom
So I'm guessing then that the Tiltons would be the "non-adjustable" pedals, and the Wilwoods the "adjustable" ones?

Re: Remote Brake Bias Adjuster not available on K20 Brammo Atom
Which would mean that, in switching from Tiltons to Wilwoods, Brammo has switched from adjustable to nonadjustable pedals?
Hmm, given that my car is #17 it's probably still got Tiltons, but them claiming that "all" of their cars are fitted with adjustable pedals... well, I'll hopefully know more soon.

Mine is number 14, I have Wilwoods, and a bias adjuster.Hmm, given that my car is #17 it's probably still got Tiltons, but them claiming that "all" of their cars are fitted with adjustable pedals... well, I'll hopefully know more soon
Re: Remote Brake Bias Adjuster not available on K20 Brammo Atom
Are your pedals adjustable?
Re: Remote Brake Bias Adjuster not available on K20 Brammo Atom
And an Ecotec. They're making this claim for Honda-engined Atoms only.KenAZUSA wrote:Mine is number 14, I have Wilwoods, and a bias adjuster.Hmm, given that my car is #17 it's probably still got Tiltons, but them claiming that "all" of their cars are fitted with adjustable pedals... well, I'll hopefully know more soon
