Yes. Refer to the picture I posted earlier in the thread - it is a (poorly) sealed unit which includes the mounting points.

Further, it isn't "only" a potentiometer - it is actually a pair, where one increases while the other decreases. The PCM compares the amount of increase on one to the decrease on the other, and if not equal, throws the "APP correlation" code.

I replaced the accelerator assembly today and it seems to have solved the problem.
I ordered part number 22731157 as per the suggestions posted here, however when I finally got the old unit off it had this number GM 22706224.
I guess more than one part number will work.
I found GM 22706224 today on EBay for only $10.00 new.
