New Ecotec axles on Ebay for sale..also Honda axles and..Atom500's.Hmm..

Found this ..interesting.This company seems to have LOTS of Ariel Atom axles for sale.They have them for the Honda,the Ecotec and the Atom500.(Hartley powered) They say the Ecotec axles will take 400whp. I wonder why they have so many axles for sale?  Is this where TMIATi sources their axles?  I emailed them..but no answers...

it's the driveshaft shop and yes they built all the axles for the atoms for brammo, might also be building for tmi


they also upgraded driveshafts somewhere in the brammo lineup not sure when so you'd probably want to find out if these are the older ones or the newer ones, but at $360 that sounds cheaper then I remember them costing

Just to clarify - not all of the Brammo cars have Driveshaft Shop parts. Quoting an old Brammo inter-office email:

I'm not sure.  I don't even know if the bar shaft in his axles will accept
this style of tri-pod (the piece that has been breaking).  But, this is an
updated design of the driveshaft shop manufactured tri-pod.  Kennedy does
not have one of the driveshaft shop manufactured tri-pods.  Kennedy's are OE
GM Tri-Pods (one of the units that we had to scavenge off of axles in the
early days).  I've sent an e-mail to the driveshaft shop and asked them
their stance.

ummm I guess I have to take back the "inexpensive" comment also, the pic shows 2 driveshafts but the description says (RIGHT) so I'm not sure if that's a pair or not.

it does say type 2 which matches that thread you linked Terry, so at least that's the decent set of axles.

$350 for a built axle is not out of line.I offered them $500 for a pair,shipped..but no response. Hmm....
