when i talked to the guy he said the fans were blowing so since the car's fans weren't on, he must have been talking about the shop fans

Turns out it was just a bad fuse.  All is well now, both fans working.

You may find the two fans are too much for that circuit, and the fuse will pop again.

Originally the 2 fans and the pump were all on the same circuit.  He found the pump wasn't working as he thought.  I bet that's when the fuse was blown.  He didn't check it as he thought the pump was controlled by temp in the ecm.  He moved the pump off the circuit to straight 12v to make it run all the time so the only thing on there are the 2 fans now.

It's customary around here to remunerate the person who correctly solves your problem with the adult beverage of their choice.. I owe Darth like a keg by now.. Silver owes me about a truck and trailer load.

Yep sounds like more than 20 amps all of that running. IC circuit is time delay only after engine start.

I put a relay and a separate circuit so that the IC circuit triggers but does not carry the load.

I say we start at LS. One big settlement......and one big hangover ;D

Terry Kennedy's decided to come on out for a wee drive and bring a very nice bottle of Scotch. I sense a renewed appreciation for LS
