6US will fit with 15mm spacers and longer studs.
I have run these on track and at autocrosses with zero incident.
One thing to watch out for on the front is interference between the inboard face of the wheel and the steering linkage near the end of steering travel. Whether or not this will be a problem depends on the offset and width of the wheels chosen.

The Brammo method for dealing with this was to install collar stops under the steering gaiters. However, that isn't easily adjustable if you change wheels back and forth and you want the full steering travel when possible. Eddie Hill made a nice system with bar stock which is outside the gaiters. He'll probably post some pics if we ask...

do you run uprated hubs/bearings considering the extra load on the corners these giants produce?

I second (third?) the pictures request.  Thanks for the write-up

Couldn't you have also used the OTC ball joint press in reverse to remove the old studs?

Call me cheap but I'd rather avoid putting a bunch of flat spots on the ball bearings by wailing on them with a BFH...

I've no idea if this would work, but couldn't you press the new studs in by hand and then put the wheel on and gently torque the nuts to pull the studs into their final positions?

Are the spacers needed specifically to allow part of the wheel to clear the Alcon calipers?  I'm wondering if they'd be needed when using these wheels on a car with Wilwood calipers.
