I did not add the under seat supports like the Brammo cars had.

I noticed that, was just seeing if any fellow anoraks spotted it ;)

thats astounding bolus....you clearly have nothing better to do on holiday......should have tried to roll the hoop over something round like a bar of some sort. bloody accurate though..you should patent it. rc nitro engine and some wheels/susp would be awesome. id buy one!!!!!

Haha, wrong place to suggest I patent a copied frame design and sell it :) :)  I may redo the hoop.  This was like the 10th attempt and bending it into the right shape though without it breaking or splitting

You might try a small propane torch to heat it first. Or make the hoop out of copper, assuming that you will paint the chassis afterwards.

Before the advent of Bundyflex tubing,we used to fill tubing to be bent with sand. Really.

Bolus,if you want seriously flexible metal tubing,go to an automotive supply shop and buy a roll of uncut rolled tubing.sizes from 1/8" to 1/2" are available. You can also get larger rolled tubing at a plumbing supply house.

I'll send you some 2.5" stuff to start making my single seater Bolus Atom. ;D

I finished the frame with all the mount points for suspension and body panels.  I went with gold a la the 500

Anyone know where I can find tiny pinion gears?

HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW can you make something so perfect.  You're suspension mounts look soooooooooooo goooooooooood....are you using surgeon magnifying type glasses to work with pieces that small?

I'm going to try and may a rack and pinion setup for the steering.  There are pinion gears for RC cars but they are still too big.  I'm looking for something in the 1-2mm range.

This would seem to be the only option open to you.

Make sure you point it the right way....  ;D

Bolus, I'm already blown away by what you've achieved so far.

Now if you can just make a teeny-weeny supercharger, then I really will be impressed  :pop:
