No worries silver - Moving right along...
I got around removing the pulley by taking the spout off of the gas tank.
Replacement alternator from a 05-06 RSX type S was $170.
I hope to be back on the road soon.

2 online parts companies have taken too long so I went to my local store and had them order an alternator for a CRV.
Side by side, it is the exact replacement with a better finish - I'm back on the road again in time for my next track day.
Thanks (silver, bolus, nicolas, ben and old posts) again for all the help as I would not have attempted this without your support. 
For me, there have been a few bugs to work out, but I love working on this car.
