Jackson Racing Supercharger (JRSC) Service and Repair
I disassembled my JRSC once and unfortunately found that the metal coating on the rotors has peeled off.
1)
Can someone help me and tell me what kind of coating is applied there and in what thickness in microns?
2)
What bearings are installed in the snout?
3)
Is it correct that the two rear bearings from the rotors can not be changed?
Thanks.

This may be useful to read ?
https://superchargerrebuild.uk/supercha ... uild-kits/
I don't think it addresses the metal coating peeling issue though.
Some more experience about the coating wearing off :-

This is useful reading for general Supercharger information but the site is in the US

This company in the UK offers a rebuild service for Jackson superchargers - I don't know how good they are or whether their reputation stands up to scrutiny but it may be worth doing some further research?

John
That's true but your link was for the supply of their kits for DIY repair - the link I quoted for Powerhouse was for them to actually carry out the rebuild/refurbishment in-house!
Horses for courses!

Thank you John Scherrer and autobackup
I have now decided that the JRSC will continue to be used as it is. Only the front bearings at the snout will be replaced.
The rotors will also remain as they are.
I will lose a little bit of compression, but probably nothing more.
The special oil was not very dirty, but it will be replaced.
I already knew about the first links, but not about the last one - https://powerhouse.uk/supercharger-rebu ... d-service/
I saved it immediately. You never know, I might need this service later on.
Now I'll put the aftercooler in the manifold and lets see how much power we get out of it.
We'll see it on the Dyno. Either the JRSC will hold out or it will be replaced by a more powerful SC.
But I love the screaming of my JRSC.
And the Atom still has to be drivable in the Alps, because that's where I do 80% of my kilometres. For the remaining 20% on the track, I lack a bit of power.
sh1t happens I am and will remain a Curves Junkie.

YES, I am.
Always full throttle
There's no shame in that - Sir Nick couldn't follow me either.
Yes, that's true, you're right.
It's years of practice and nurturing.
By the way - this summer we was 9 days at the French Alps driving 3500km with your Atom.
It was gigantic.
Passes that are 20 or up to 30 kilometres long in one piece with fantastic landscapes.
Every day another hotel.
If you'd like to accompany the nutter in the Alps again, feel free to get in touch.
