Better than a day I had at Anglesey in 2015 where the k series in my Elise put a rod through the block and set fire to the back of the car…..8 hours on 3 different AA low loaders to get back to Bristol!

I feel your pain. You were lucky the AA did anything with your car from a track. The RAC wont touch it.

Yup the AA do cover this stuff though so I have stuck with them. They came straight into the paddock no problem.

The RAC recovered mine, but that was only after some serious blagging / begging. They turned down a Porsche that had caught fire. He ended up paying to get his car recovered.

Interesting is the AA will recover you from a track day following mechanical failure (not a crash).
