Has anyone done a trackday on the standard brakes ?

I had standard brakes on my last atom, and it was no problem.  You have less feel, but still plenty of retardation, and you will not overheat them.

As long as the fluid and Pads are good, I should be ok then.

What's the recommended pad for the standard brakes ?
Atom 2 300 Orange + Porsche 996TT + Gti
