News item on PH tells the story - noise lobby reducing days they can operate which impacts economic viability

It was the first track I ever visited as a little lad when down staying with relatives who lived very close - we used to walk up to the hairpin and see cars and bikes really close up - you could tell that there was a meeting on as the noise was pretty loud

Sad as despite all of that I had never managed to drive the track - it was on the list - might be hard now unless they can get a settlement agreed with the locals behind the noise related legal dispute

Here's hoping this is not the start of a number of tracks closing - quite a few are under pressure from the noise lobby
