Re: Atom following FireBreathing Porker..
What video system have you got there? I am going to get one installed before the start of the season and this one looks ideal. Thanks

Hi,
I have the RaceLogic VideoBox Lite...comes with the two bullet cameras, low and high res, although the high res is not GoPro quality. But the whole set-up is handy.

Back in Blighty...
Below is what I paid for the kit, net price...then you have to add the Vodka and Tonic. Not cheap I know, but it is full blown race telemetry….so you can have hours of fun (as I do) viewing all your shortcomings...!
BTW, I fitted the 'installation' myself...very easy.
However, as the Atom is a little 'open to the elements'...you will need to put the actual Video VBOX unit into a waterproof box of some kind...I used a plastic hinged/lid outdoor electrical junction box, the sort you can buy from one of the ‘sheds’ like Homebase/BQ, etc.
This box is normally used to house the sockets/plugs on mains electrical extension leads (so they can be left outdoors in the weather). The cables enter the box via soft-rubber glands which are compressed by a clamp...they work really well….! The box then lives on the floor in front of the passenger footrest…and all the cables are plenty long enough to ‘run around’ the car.
I hope this info is useful.
