Best UK "fly/drive" circuit

Got a mate based in Scotland that is looking to fly down south or get a train and hire a car from track-club or Bookatrack or some other outfit for a TrackDay

I'm based in London so looking at some circuit ideally no further north than Donington

Any thoughts on the best options near airports or with proximate rail stations o he can fly and cab to the circuit or get a train ?

Well Donington is right next to east midlands airport - don't think you will get much closer !! Car wise I have a friend who hires out Caterhams for track day use at reasonable prices. I'm sure he can put a package of car and track day together at any UK circuit if required. PM if you are interested.

Donington sounds like a great idea but i am told that there are no fights Glasgow or Edinburgh to East Midlands

Luton for Bedford is an option and I guess Manchester for Oulton

Any other thoughts

Stanstead is less than an hour from Brands, actually as is Gatwick or Heathrow.

Norwich for Snetterton (flights from Aberdeen on ScotAir)

And Stansted is about an hour and a half from Bedford and Snett and Rockingham.
