Wet Track Days

Post by FlyingTrotter » Tue May 31, 2011 8:18 pm

After a pretty dire track day at Silverstone on Monday on which I got 20 damp minutes on track followed by a wash out with rivers/ standing water until I called it a day to spend 2 hours driving home in a down pour I'm toying with some other options and would be interested in views - do I find a way to transport or just accept Atoms and rain are not meant for each other

If you trailer the car, you have the tow vehicle to play in if it's wet... I've done many happy laps in a Volvo (mind you it was a proper V70R)

I have been quite lucky with trackday weather but the one wet day I did at Bedford was fantastic fun and I was on R888s.
