Not that into competition, so I probably would not go. If it were an open track day with unlimited sound, that would be nice. :)

I'd like to see DP35 do this. Assuming the Atom can do a 50 minute stint (gas consumption issues) it'd be wild to see where it would place amongst the other chaff.

Seconded! Looks like it is a tad under $1K ($975 according to one form there). I'd definitely chip in to see DP35 beat those other cars!

DP35, congrats on a recent podium finish in the NASA Spec Miata class.  I was fast forwarding through some video and saw a familiar face.

HaHa Postiron, I remember that post!  Sorry to disapoint.  My 3rd place result improved during tech inspection, when the winner was tossed for having illegal shocks, giving me 2nd and another $2K in prize money.  I'll post a detailed write up of the race soon.  But in the meantime you can see the in-car video here (its pretty entertaining):  http://www.vimeo.com/15105874
