Ariel Atom won an Award

Yesterday was a very large car show of all types of vehicles. It was called the California Automobile Museum Cruise and this was the 2nd Annual one. This year the police blocked all the traffic and we were able to drive thru red lights with people waving from the sidelines passing the Capital and thru downtown and ending in midtown. There the city blocked off 4 city blocks to accommodate well over 400 cars of all shapes and sizes.
Then they gave the public to vote on their favorite vehicles in different categories,i.e Hot Rods, Customs, Pre and Post war vehicle, Sports cars and Trucks.
Over 10000 people showed up and the Atom sure was a little popular.
So popular that the ol' Atomizer won his first Trophy. 
Peoples choice award for Best Sports Car....The Ariel Atom !  I was pretty surprised to say the least. Just for the sheer fact of how many awesome vehicles showed up, (cost $49 to enter ones car, this was a main fund raiser for the museum).
