Lug Nut Key for Brammo Atom 2

I can not find anyone that sells the lug nut key (if that is what it is called)  Basically looks like an allen wrench that attachs to a torque wrench. Any ideas on where to get one?

I can tell you it measures 11.8mm, or .466"  ,but where to find one I have no clue. I took mine off asap and replaced them with a spline drive setup. (the stud thread is 12mmx1.5)

if you can't find one you can borrow mine to get them off (if it fits) then replace them with something else so that you no longer need the key

After no luck at Napa and O'Riely, I found one at Auto Zone. I will find out tonight if it fits. If not, I will probably take you up on the offer.

I use one of these.

12mm Impact hex-wrench.

I bought a 'kit' of these from Harbor Freight for ~$30.
I bought both a standard and a metric set.

It is not the best quality - but it works, and it has never let me down.

I've had this on my "to do" list for quite some time as well.  I think it reads "need 12mm hex key" or something like that.  Was surprised that I couldn't find one at Sears and haven't tried since.

I am in the process (I currently have oil on my hands) of replacing the studs & nuts on my Atom.

This means that my Brammo tool will be unneeded.

$10 for the tool.
$20 for the 16 old lug nuts (that fit the tool.)

12 MM hex from Auto Zone worked.

12mm hex driver bit is not that easy to find in the average Sears, Kragen, Pep Boys, etc.

But Snap-On and SK Tool make them and you can order SK Tool items on Amazon.
