Anyone in LA with the windshield?

These are the photos I sent to Mark at TMI.
This issue is not a simple adjustment as was earlier thought.
As you can see, the wiper clears a path that leaves the the main Field of Vision untouched. The black dot on the tape is approx. at the center of the FOV. The sweep distance is adequate but the reach of the wiper blade is not. It's roughly the same issue when viewing from the passenger seat. Mark is having his people review this and is forwarding the pics to the U.K.. I don't intend to drive in the rain, however, I live in New England where the weather can change for the worse with little notice.
FYI - Mark also said that 60% of the Atoms that they sell have windshields.

It is just a matter of a simple adjustment...
Problem fixed.

Rain-X. Works like magic! I don't see how that single arm wiper will ever reach your fiield of view...

Is the windshield glass? I've used rain-x (carefully following the instructions) on a professionally fabbed Lexan windshield for my last track car. That was the wrong thing to do - it left what looked like a waterspot haze that was very permanent. I believe that Rain-X also states on the bottle not to use it on plastic/lexan/acrylic etc.

Re: Anyone in LA with the windshield?
Good question Lane. :tu: The windshield is glass and Mark at TMI says that's what they use when racing instead of the wiper.

Good call Lane. The windshield is polycarbonate and after a little research find that Rain-X is not to be used.
Other recommended products are:
1. McGuires crystal clear car polish
2. Plexus
3. Sumner's 210
Anyone have any experience with these or other products as a rain repellant?

Re: Anyone in LA with the windshield?
I modified my previous post. The windshield is glass not polycarbonate so Rain-X is the answer.
