Hi , sorry if this has been posted before but i was just wondering how fast b's old car was 335hp? i.e , wot mods were done etc?

Also , who is doing the new turbocharged engine for you and what power are you expecting?

Finally , quarter mile times , what can you expect from the Atom all the way down from a 120 to a fully blown 300 or more?

Paul, i'll keep it short or i'll be here all night.

1/4 mile times

335hp =11.5 terminal speed 119mph
300hp=11.7
245hp=12
don't no any lower hp figures


650 injectors+ larger crank pulley(running the s/charger at 7psi rather than 5) + sports zorst=35hp  hence a 335 Atom.

CPL Racing are building my new v-tec engine, complete race spec from top to bottom(same as they use in the touring car championships).
The engine alone will only produce about 275hp but it will be as strong as an ox, enabiling a rather big turbo to kick out another 125hp on full boost= 425hp    850hp/ton!

Beat that with an Elise!

p.s  should be high 10's on the 1/4 mile

Aside from the factory  , can anyone reccomend any good Honda tuners? i have heard "System R" are very good but cant find any details on them?

Bye Bye Wile E. Coyote. Will your Atom cook a corner too hard, you look down and your in the middle of a pond, trying your best to be a skiboat? Do you have any Acme components in your Atom?

no, your wrong,    sports zorst did give me about 16hp though,  the original Ariel exhaust is very heavy and restrictive.
crank pulley+zorst+inj=35hp

Sports zorst is also illegal on most race tracks.

Illegal?? Is it the noise level that's the issue?

Yes! The static noise is just within the 98bd noise limit but under load with the V-Tec kicked in she sounds like a formula one car and comfortably exceeds the track noise limit.

The unit is actually a one off custom job that James had made by Predator in Welwyn Garden City. I have ordered a removeable baffle unit from them in the hope that it will keep me track legal!
