I am about to purchase the AIM Smarty CAM for my car but trying to decide where to position the controller. I will opt for the separate box not all in one because I already have the GPS module.
If you have this where did you position the main controller?
At this moment, I am thinking next to the remote brake bias as per my dodgy picture, then I can easily connect it to the Data hub under the dash with a very short cable. The bullet cam cable would then run towards the front of the car and down along the channel with the brake and clutch lines so I can position the camera by the drivers head. This is what I am thinking right now.
The other option is to position the controller behind the driver, then I will need the thicker data cable running along the channel to the AIM data hub - and this will be a lot more visible than the bullet cam because the bullet cam cable is very thin.
Please share where you have put yours.
