Atom 4 wings over speed bumps?

Post by SvenTheHammer » Mon Jun 08, 2020 9:17 pm

Can anyone with the new front and rear wings on their Atom 4, let me know if they go over speed bumps etc without scraping them?

I hope so, I have some on order and didn't think to check this, doh!

When looking though the front of the Atom slopes up, and the front wing sits in that slope so one would hope speed bumps will not be a problem.

They don't look that low from the pictures I have seen.

They are absolutely fine, no real difference to the car in standard form.

The front wing bracket pick up point is the lowest part of the whole assembly and so far I've not caught it over a speed bump (although I literally crawled over it.)

Cheers,
Stu

Thanks Stu. Did you have the wings ppf'ed? Seems like alot of area to cover if you did.

I did but the ppf supplier had an issue which led to some lacquer coming off them.
That's what I'm waiting to be sorted before putting them back on. Hopefully ready very soon.

Oh dear. Hope you get it fixed soon. My car goes in for ppf early July. I will get all the carbon covered with a satin finish I think. I am going to see if we can get the side of the fuel tank and intercooler ppf'ed black
