Just my opinion ..

Anyone who drove a 245 '3' will know you don't 'need' the 350 map for a good car !

Handbrake (with the big brake option) a good idea not just for insurance ? but for MOT time!

What he said.

To infer an A4 without the 350 remap is not a good car is absurd. I really do not get people's obsession with this whole remap thing. Not least since sooooooo few have actually driven any variant yet.

IMO, obvs.

It’s not a need, but it’d be daft not to, especially given the new chassis calms everything down a notch. It’s not like you have a NA option anyway now so you may as well use the turbo to its potential.

To say one does not need a 350bhp remap is like saying the 245 does not need a supercharger, come on...do you really believe this? if so I'd say the majority petrol heads would disagree with you. Why do you think there is an obsession with 600+ horse power supercars now, lambos, Ultimas, and Hyper-cars, who needs 900bhp! because it sells and its a lot more fun, I don't need to drive an Atom 4 to know the 350 will be a lot more fun than the 320bhp car. If there was a 400bhp option, I'd pick that instead. :tu:

I think you need to lookup the dictionary definition of "need"

No, I don't. The question was what do I need for £10k in options. I gave my opinion, am I missing something? Seems many need to look up the word opinion here...

A simple study sorts this out.

Do I need 350 HP ... no
Will 350HP make me happy ... likely
Therefore I need 400HP

You can’t put a price on happiness. :P

When the time comes to resale time the 350 car will be more attractive to the buyer.....i wouldnt look at a 245 atom 2/3 car.

Indeed. And ask most who moved from 245 to 310 if they’d have traded back ;)
