The grey frame 350 car has yellow panels. Let's hope to see some reviews of it soon.

Is anyone going to Goodwood?

Are Ariel even there? From all the live feeds I haven’t seen they haven’t been mentioned.

I was there earlier. They’ve an Ace, Nomad & Atom 4. The latter is a 350 version.

Didn’t take any pics.

I guess the pics answer both those questions!

The lap timing thingy is neat. Sits on top of the tray instead of under it & the data comes up on the screen behind the steering wheel. The reverse camera is also ace.

My favourite feature, though, is the wee ledge that your right forearm rests against, now that the handbrake has been relocated. Crying out for a bit of embroidery, that bit is. And - bonus - the passenger also gets one.

There are 3 small holes each side where one can store lollies as well.

They really do think of everything, Ariel.

Hedge

Hedge,

Can you give us some more info on the lap timing and reverse camera.

Are you saying the GPS aerial unit (or whatever sensor) sits on top dash, and the data appears on the digital dash? And for the reversing camera the picture appears on the digital dash also? That makes sense, but its not clear from the pics. Have you had a demo of them both?

Cheers
Peter

If you have a look at the dash manufacturer AIM it shows you what it can do. It is pretty good stuff. I added the camera straight away and might go for the data logger later as it looks superb. I spoke to Tom about it and he says you can add the logger later without any great cost penalty. Everything is integrated into the dash screen so no additional screen needed for either camera or logger

Dont think you we will the sequential this year. I would expect it will be next year before we get a glimpse of the box.

Only pricey if you went with the video overlay showing brake pressure etc. Otherwise similar price to the reversing camera, I think.
