Bill did you see this on the RMA website?:

"This event will be run from the historic pits due to maintenace in the Formula 1 paddock. The historic pits are one car per garage"

I think that's the cost now, was £899 for early booking. Ive been the last 7 years and only had a half day of continuous rain (1st year) and a couple of hours last year, so yes (hopefully)

We normally leave the trailers' at the track. Didn't know about the garages, I will check it out.

Leyton who's running RMA now has confirmed spaces are limited and to book the Hotel direct, Phone no +3287795800

I'm booked in on this :vroom:

I've also booked with La Source, just waiting for a confirmation email (as Bill says, you need to ring to prove that you have booked with RMA.)

Most importantly for anyone who hasn't been before, you get the best Lunch Buffet at a racing circuit at Spa ;D

Cheers,
Stu

I've taken a 1 year membership with RMA.
I've booked the hotel for Sunday & Monday night. Confirmation email says €140 per twin room per night. Is anyone staying longer?
Has anyone booked the shuttle? With a trailer it looks like £272 return? Although RMA may get a discount? What departure time from UK are people selecting and what return time?
Are we going to meet up and go as a (trailered) molicule??

Hi Nick

We are meeting at the factory on Friday 19th Jan and then have lunch at the Mill, to discuss travel arrangements and any other track days we can fit in before Spa, don't know if you can make it, but great if we can all meet up

Best regards

Bill

Has he given up his racing ambitions then?

Don't know about that, but he was running the show last year without Graham. Managing director is his title now.

I was looking to take the new Nomad over to do the odd trackday - Spa is high on the list as is Zandvoort. I wont be able to until June onwards though. Bot i would try and do with LOT as I also have Lotus friends that would come and I know them well. I wouldnt do Spa with RMA - their days are well run but just not in my mind a trackday - more a racing test day. Having racing 911s coming past me at 200 mph is not my idea of a fun day out !

Lotus on Track have a Zandvoort/Zolder double header in September that I'm booked in for.

Never done Zandvoort before but Zolder is a great track.

That's cool.

I'm not taking the Atom for that one, going with a friend in his 3-eleven.

Zolder's almost on the road back (pretty much) so would be rude not to! ;)

Hopefully see you at one (or both!)

Stu

Has anyone got an official word on the garage situation for Spa yet?

RMA only seemed to have the F1 pit prices down on their order form.

Cheers,
Stu

I think they’re using the historic garages
@ same cost as F1
I assume they are sold out, I could only get one for 2nd day

Thanks for the info Bill, I'll get there early and park under the ramps to the upper paddock then!

I know it's all sold out and everything but charging the same price for the historic garages that take a couple of cars at best is more than just a little bit profiteering!

Really looking forward to this one!

Cheers,
Stu
