thanks Stu

Im just wondering whether the shoulder pads would fit as on the JK site, ie above the main back pad, rather than on the Atom side shoulder areas? Just that if they're fitted like most atom owners do, it would restrict me, as Im a large/tall chap

So you've ordered a 4? When are you expecting its delivery?

I had them on the last Atom I had. They work v well.

Don't know about the NVH levels on the 4. Might be they're not needed :)

Going in one tomorrow so I'll let you know.

Cheers,
Hedge

Hedge,
Deffo be interested to hear your opinion on the 4 (and the new seats), if anyone knows what an Atom feels like, that would be you!

Digger,
They will make bespoke for you if you need amendments.
They sent me some paper cut outs which I had to amend to fit the seat base on my 3.5, which worked very well when they made them up properly.

They were v helpful

Cheers,
Stu

Hi Hedge
As a complete newbie to Atoms I would really appreciate your insights on the new car.
This would be like the world first unofficial review of Atom 4.

If possible please start a new more appropriately named thread so more become aware.
Thank you.

Yes there is already an Atom 4 thread. The last I heard is the car should be ready for demo end Sep. It is now end of Sep! I suspect we will see the press very soon writing reviews once the factory is happy to do such.

I am really hoping like everyone elae that the new car is a big improvement over the 3.5 because I have delayed my original 3.5 order build for the new car even though I really want the car now. The only car I have left at the moment is a 1.1ltr Fiat 500! Lol

Just ordered a set of these, but didn't know about the Velcro option. So I guess mine are coming without... I have the carbon seats and I was wondering what would be the best adhesive solution? - or just use double sided 3M tape ?

Just ordered some of these myself and was told they just use a spray on adhesive! I'd personally like a earsier removal process!

I'd definitely recommend heavy duty velcro. Makes it much easier to clean the seat if you have to get small stone chippings out.

These were great on my 3.5, not sure yet what will be necessary for the 4??

I had pads made by JKComposites and they supplied them with pre-cut velcro fixings.

The photo below was taken before my Atom was upgraded to a 3.5R and had the full windscreen and side panels fitted!

just a heads up about waiting times...

I ordered mine end of jan.. been chasing them a few times and had ZERO response for last two weeks, until yesterday - I got an email saying how busy they are and they cannot guarantee my order being made up anytime soon - and could not commit to a date either... so, would I like to cancel and get my money back.
I have said NO, I still want the pads.

guess I will just have to wait until they get around to me... its 5 week and counting so far.

Same boat as you ordered but like you say very difficult to talk to and they now don't supply the pads with pre cut velcro & suggest using glue!
Not liking that idea much so have just bought some flat & circular velcro sheets, should be fun fitting with my OCD for alignment :)
