Re: Chassis colour
I guess getting the chassis colour is important as the other bits can easily and cheaply be wrapped any colour or texture....and changed every few months!!

Re: Chassis colour
Here is mine, in full black (my vote if you are looking for ideas). Wings to come in due course. I will be changing the wheels too - but still will be all black.
Re: Chassis colour
Part of me would love to get the frame in a pearl Bianchi Celeste with carbon mudguards and bodywork but Tom guessed nearly 3k for the frame....

Re: Chassis colour
I think the silver looks great with the red but away from the red, I prefer the other combos. Black or gunmetal seems more flexible with other colour options.GordonOttewell wrote:I think it’s between silver or gunmetal with red ,black wheels that’s my gut feeling I’ll see

As I think you know, I went gunmetal grey with full carbon with the red decals.
If I have the money, I’ll probably do as Hedge mentioned and look to get the callipers and hubs colour matched

It's definitely a personal choice, you need to go with what you like, try to stick with gloss though. It's easier to polish but shows up imperfections more.
For me it was either white or black (no grey areas!). I actually quite like I think it's the Titanium colour - it's on the Ariel sequential demo car - looks almost black but it has metallic in it. But prefer black in all honesty.
Silver to me looks dated. I had to have my car machine polished to give it a nice shine, it didn't come like that out of the factory.

Re: Chassis colour
Chassis colour is a one time choice.
Body panels though - every couple of months in my experience.

Who says collars and cuffs have to match?

Re: Chassis colour
I think the titanium looks grey, if the sequential car is darker than battleship grey its probably gunmetal ? All a bit confusing really ..simonrhart wrote: ↑Mon Sep 07, 2020 9:04 pm It's definitely a personal choice, you need to go with what you like, try to stick with gloss though.
