Don’t forget that becoming a club member means you get to use the word “member” a bit and you also get a discount on labour rates down at the Crewkerne factory - which comes in pretty handy when you pop in for a service and leave with an aero kit and Ohlins! Plus you get some other stuff which we can’t talk about, but is pretty cool*.

Well we can talk about it, but we’d rather not right now.

Pick up day. Bit cold on the motorway but other than that this thing is wonderful ❤️

That 'cool' colour scheme probably didn't help the temperature !

Saw your car last Saturday at the factory. I love the colour of the panels. Enjoy.

I am really happy with it, doesn’t seem to photograph very easily but looks great in the metal.

Awesome, congrats Rob. Great to see a left-field colour scheme on the 4 and looks fantastic. Hopefully some dry days before winter closes in!

Indeed - too much to ask for it to be dry and warm I reckon so I’ll take dry :-)

My kids are taking the piss out of me spending time in the garage this evening just looking at it…..

Had an afternoon in the Mendips yesterday and absolutely love this thing. If you saw an Atom moving fairly slowly it was me 👍

Steering & gear change are fantastic, the ride is incredibly good, brake pedal is a bit soft as though the brakes need bleeding a bit better.

Think it’ll take some time to get used to how wide it is. Feels a lot wider than an Elise which I’m very conscious of on narrow roads. Anyone else found that?

Coming from an Elise it's definitely a lot wider - it's basically the same width as a BMW 3 Series. It helps being able to see the wheels though as you can quite easily place the car when you're used to it. The brake pedal is quite long which makes it quite difficult to heel and toe but the brakes start to really come alive when up to temperature 👍

Yup - narrow roads with passing places and trying to squeeze past a Mercedes Sprinter coming the other way early on didn’t help. Will get used to it, just not in the next couple of weeks looking at the forecast….

Beware of vehicles like Transit Vans with double rear wheels.
I was coming through a very narrow street in Liverpool City Centre some years back, when one came the other way.
I moved over as close as i could to the wall on my side, and it looked like he could squeeze past until I heard his rear wheel, more than felt it, touch my rear Dymag.
He probably didn't even know he'd touched me, and with no way to turn around, he disappeared into the maze of streets.
This is also the reason I would never ever have Dymags again, as that slight touch was enough to make the wheel un-repairable when I sent it back to Dymag themselves.
The wheel design is useless, with it sticking out proud of the tyre.
I sold the set of Dymags off cheap, as "Buy 3, get 1 Free", with full disclosure of the condition.

Rob,
The Mendips are also my playground. Where are you located, I’m based in North Somerset.

Andrew
