I’ll be getting a quote from Ti22 in Chepstow when mine is ready in a couple of weeks.

They did a ceramic coating on my GR a few months back - just gave the chap a ring and he was responsive. Has some very nice cars there and seems to do a good job.

Looks like second week of October.

I had my Atom done at Shadeswraps (@shadeswraps on Instagram) in Bristol. Had my Tesla de-chromed and windows tinted by them too.

I had my springs powder coated, calipers painted, panels changed to chrome purple and then PPF on the wings, panels, mudguards, the lower parts of the frame for around £2800 all in.

Not sure how much the PPF would be on its own but should be quite a bit cheaper. For reference Simon (Bob Smith on the Facebook group) had his wings fully PPF'd somewhere else and it cost £1100 (Think he even had the non-visible sides done unlike mine).

Very happy with the job the guys did but they didn't use the Xpel template that I've heard is out there so I ended up DIYing bits that I'd forgot to ask for e.g. the wishbones.

Want to get round to this before I really use it in anger in the new year. Any other recommendations in the South West that would be worth getting a quote from, particularly any that have the template set?

There are different qualities of film used. Make sure you go for a premium brand (like XPEL).

With PPF, it really is a case of buy cheap, buy twice.

I used Scudo Forte in Portsmouth. They did my 4. I had all the front facing parts done inc. wing and spoiler, mudguards, wishbones etc. plus some in-cabin parts. They did a very good job. I used a recommendation off this forum so they already had a template (but not wing and spoiler - which they have now!). I can’t remember the exact cost but i think it was around £1400.

My Atom is likely to be ready this month so will be looking to get ppf done on the usual areas inc wings. I am based in Devon and may have just had the most 'entertaining' quote from a Xpel accredited fitter close to me - who wanted.....£6,500!! :roflp:

It is therefore likely I may have to travel to get the car done - thinking of Scudo Forte as I know they have done a couple of other 4's there, but happy to consider any other recommendations. Has anyone come across any other decent ppf fitters in the southwest?!

Thanks - interesting to know what sort of prices being are being quoted. I have a quote from Scudo Forte (Xpel) for around £2k plus vat so not dissimilar to what you are being told. I have found another local company who seems to have a good reputation so now awaiting a quote from them - although they use Premium Shield rather than Xpel but have the templates. And yes...on the Atom 4 Whatsapp group thanks - certainly lots of useful discussions on there! ;)

A couple of us have used Paintguard in Waterlooville near Portsmouth.
I paid £1250 plus VAT. that included all wishbones, driveshafts, wings, lights etc.
top job.
