Re: Is 45 minutes in an AA worth $500? TMI Ariel Atom Experience

I saw my first one on way back from Le Mans in 2005. Decided then - one day
Drove a 300 in 2009
Since driven a 160 and 245. Everyone a grin
245 arrives next March (all being well)
Do the lot I say.... then buy one!
have a good one

Re: The Three Peaks Challenge

Ben did the national 3 Peaks in 2008. 23 hrs 44 mins. Things I remember - you can't drink too much - you can't eat too much but not too much energy stuff. As normal as possible. Caught me out on Scafell Pike after one too many gel packs! - take a pillow for the car / van  to grab some kip - if you a...

A birthday Atom .....

March 2012 is a long way off so how do you satisfy the frustration? 1. ask for Test Drive Unlimited 2 for the PS3 for your birthday 2. enlist your 15 year old son to get to level A1 and unlock the Atom 3. receive following text at 12.46pm today "Orange Atom purchased. Happy Birthday Dad!!"...

Re: Our New Atom 3 245

Wattie great post. can't wait to have the same feeling. Hired on of james' atoms from Atomhire (brilliant by the way) but driving our own will be special. Quick question - do you still think the fixed suspension is perfectly suitable? I didn't specify the adjustable on the spec as in atomhire's 160 ...

Hello everyone from Cumbria

Evening all I have daydreamed about having an Atom in the garage since I first saw one coming back from Le Mans in 05. Well, the deposit is down and it arrives next year. A 245, black chassis and wheels in Orange. Can't wait and am looking forward in the meantime to browsing the Forum and immersing ...
