Re: First timer insurance
Welcome - I am sure you'll enjoy Atom ownership. To give you an idea, I renewed my Atom insurance this week, but with no track day cover, via A-Plan for £315, 3k miles. I am 52, live in Cornwall, no accidents etc, and have 7 years no claims which I have protected. Classicline quoted £380 - which did...

Re: Ariel Atom 3.5R owners?
It’s a strange one. I think it maybe is a little quicker in reality. K20 310 I had was maybe 310/320bhp and the k24 I now have maybe was 280/290 and now 330.. as Previois owner did say he definitely noticed the difference. Either way I do love this new one I have ! I believe the factory has always ...

Re: Wanted - Nomad 235 for road
I take it you've discounted this green one on for £50k? https://www.db90.co.uk/used-cars/search ... eType=cars
I appreciate that it doesn't mention any service history, but with less than 1k miles, a trip to the factory as part of the purchase, would address that.

Re: Nomad 2
I imagine they will use quite a lot of the improvements that they implemented on the Atom 4 vs. the 3.5 - aluminium hubs, thicker chassis tubing, revised suspension geometry to reduce squat and dive and as, Matt Jones Nomad "1" shows, the new dash and the AP Racing brakes. The biggest ques...

Re: Nomad 2
That's me Jerry, it was an email from Ben Gunn (and I meant 28 months, edited on FB!):
..."we are in the midst of Nomad 2 design and the chances of that being here by the time the 28-month lead time is up, is fairly high I’d say… hopefully."

Re: Upgrades rated
Can't fault you on any of those choices - I'd also suggest the Tillets as they are very comfortable and look lovely. Interestingly I had a chat with Ben at the factory a few weeks ago about upgrading my 3 to 3.5R spec, and he reckoned a non-original R isn't worth as much as an original one (although...

I'm not surprised, it looked a nice car. As a matter of interest, did you get near your asking price?
