Re: Renewal time

Just had my renewal quote through from REIS for the Atom 2 300 I've just sold. £269 fully comp. 6 track days included. £350 excess. 3000 miles limit. Down from £312 last year. This is the first time for me a policy renewal has gone down - turned 50 last year so maybe that's why - shame the cars gone!

Re: Flywheel Inspection cover

Hi Graham,

The same part number (21350-PRB-000) is used for the accord K24 so I'd be surprised if it didn't fit your car

Re: Oversteers way to much...

I think they'd be fine for casual road use (check the sidewalls for any signs of cracking) but if you don't know how they've been stored then I personally wouldn't risk it on track or for 'spirited' road use.

Re: Quaife LSD - difference between FWD/RWD options?

Hi Tom, I think so :-[ Here's a response from CPL themselves on the subject https://www.ariel.club/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6773&start=22 For info the RWD version of the Quaife diff is internally different in construction to the FWD version. It was found that using the FWD version in a RWD ...

Re: Oversteers way to much...

Tyres not stored sympathetically for a prolonged period of time can turn to plastic (well that's what it feels like). Check your tyre DOT code to see just how old they are.

Re: Atoms for sale - information thread

Yeah saw that reappear too. If it was me I'd put the car back to stock, take much better pictures and sell the wheels/wings/carcoon etc. separately. It's got FFSH so should be sound.

Re: Atom 4

I personally think it's great that the Atom appeals to people with difering tastes, budgets and views on what's important in the spec. How boring would it be if every Atom was the same!
