Re: Draining petrol from the tank?
Depress the Schraeder valve on the fuel rail (or remove the center section so it stays open with out having to hold it that way), remove the fuel pump electrical connector from the pump, and connect 12v directly to the fuel pump. The pump will take care of emptying the tank most of the way. I've d...

Re: Anyone has Hoosiors on for both street and track use?
That's a very good point. My "highway use" is, at most, 30 minutes of driving around town where I live, or a trip to the next town over for a car show, track event, etc. I would definitely not have these tires on the car for my next 3000 mile trip across the country, nor would I feel com...

So, no concern about the construction of the A6s for road debris to potentially cause a flat tire?
No more concern than I have with a normal street tire - probably because where I live, typical road debris is mainly tree branches and roadkill.

Re: Anyone has Hoosiors on for both street and track use?
I have Hoosier A6 tires on a 2nd set of wheels and I had intended to swap them on just for track events (HPDE, auto-x) in place of my R888 street tires. What has happened is that the Hoosiers tend to stay on for street driving now too. Aside from how much better the Hoosiers are on the track than ...

Re: Option for coil spring twist/flex and noise
UPDATE - Vorschlag no longer appears to have these upper spring bearings on their site, but a quick search revealed a thread posted by Vorschlag in the past identifying these as BMW E46 M3 upper strut perch bearings with a 60mm (2.36") ID. I found what looks to be the same bearing based on its ...
the bearings in this thread were awesome unfortunately I can't locate the vorshlag bearings anymore perhaps they have been discontinued, but, since they were sealed it provided a nice tidy upgrade versus the open bearings
Vorschlag no longer appears to have them o...

Are the suspensions mods still working well?
Yes, my car is rattle and squeak free 99.9% of the time. What I did has worked very well.

I cured all my suspension noise for good with the following: thread 1 thread 2 Took some effort, but was worth it.
Sorry meladdo, was bored. I seem to remember that back in the early Atom 2 days this was discussed at length. Ideas of plastic shims and rubber coating the spr...

Where are you located? Readers/Posters on this forum are from all over the world and it would help to know where it would be shipped from. But because of the international nature, thumbs up :tu: for including shipping in the cost. Why doesn't anyone enter general location information in their prof...

Re: Go pro comparison
It's disappointing that the review only compared sound in such a limited way. The Go Pro didn't sound bad that way. Unfortunately, in reality the overall sound of Go Pro cameras sound just terrible compared to anything else in virtually every video I've ever watched shot by one (that the shooter d...

Your profile doesn't say where you're located, or even the country. That would be helpful.

Nice. That's how they ALL should look. The car's too beautiful to have one of its most visible parts left to rust and tarnish.

"Stock" tune on the upper end Brammo Atom 2 (which they advertised as 300 hp) was either the GM Stage 2 or 3 tune for the Ion Red Line or Cobalt SS that was customized a bit further if I understand correctly. Others here that have done tuning can correct me if I'm wrong. I am running the...
