Suspension ratio?

Hi,
I was wondering what's the suspension ratio are?
After a quick look it seems to be 1:1 wheel travel to shock travel, is that correct?
If so why didn't the factory used the link to make it progressive and whit shorter shocks?

Re: 3.5R K24Z7 gearbox failure!

I'm guessing that something happened whit the LSD.
When I have the wheels up and turn the wheel and no gear its occasionally hit something and the other wheel turns at the opposite direction for a while and when I passed the spot it turns normal again🤔

Re: New owner of a 3.5R from Sweden.

According to my tuner Ariel made a ton of changes from the oem Civiv Si map, so we needed to build it up from scratch.
When try to find idle its oscillating from 2000 to 1500 and after a while slowly find a reasonable idle.

Re: New owner of a 3.5R from Sweden.

I can se the inlet temp and a lot more in the dash on the phone via bluetooth from the flashpro, realy convenient. On hard street use whit outside temp on 20 Celsius I got around 50 Celsius inlet temp. But I guess it would rise on the track. The main concern now is the hunting idle problem, calibrat...

Re: New owner of a 3.5R from Sweden.

We still got winter E85 when I filled the cans, hence E70 now E85 should be available.
I got 10psi now factory claims that K24 3,5R should have 9psi.
So I guess that I would hit 370hp whit E85 and normal temperature.
Cooling seems to work god enough, we will se when I hit the track...

Re: New owner of a 3.5R from Sweden.

So, now I got the right power😀 After installation of the K24 crank pulley, 1000cc injectors, fuel sensor, alco reader and a Hondata Flashpro it was time for a new dyno. My ECU are from a civic Si 2012 us only. We struggle whit the base map because Ariel has done massive changes in the oem software. ...

Re: New owner of a 3.5R from Sweden.

Thanks for replays guys 👍
I was thinking of go for E85.
I need like 1000cc injectors I guess, but the stock 650cc injectors has a connector that's not available it seems?
Anybody know about connectors that fits the oem loom?

Re: New owner of a 3.5R from Sweden.

I think that I got som belt slip, because last autumn I sawn 8PSI roughly. The tuner also thought it was running a bit lean. So whit a Hondata unit we could fin tune everything and also try a K24 crank pulley. Another question. I'm going from 5.75" to 6.125" crank pulley. Today I got a 52....

Re: New owner of a 3.5R from Sweden.

The car was sold new in Sweden as a 3.5R.
Acording to Ariel the few K24 3.5R that was build they reduce the boost from the K20s 11 PSI to 9PSI due to intake temperature.
But they still stated 350hp...

Re: New owner of a 3.5R from Sweden.

JDM Racing.jpg So, now I have driven the car on a dyno. As expected, it was not so impressive ... I was skeptical if it really had the 350hp that Ariel claims. It performed only 300hp and 320NM. We couldn't do anything since we were missing the Hondata box unfortunately. My car has a K24 engine fro...

Have you had it on the dyno / rollers yet? Any gains from your mods?
No not yet, it's winter now so I will put it on the rollers in the spring.
